To Périgueux at the very end of August for Vintage days. Three days of exhibitons of vintage vehicles, of music from the 40s, 50s and 60s, of parades by people dressed up in vintage costumes and of very fine weather.
I met several people beautifully dressed in period costumes in the streets of Périgueux, but it seemed a shame to photograph them against a background of modern shop windows, so I persuaded some to come to the vintage military vehicles park to stage some scenes with more appropriate backdrops.
