A visit to the arboretum La Jonchère in Haute Vienne with several friends. La Jonchère is mainly known for conifers, for example, the biggest Sequoia in France.

Guided by an expert on trees, we learned a lot about the remarkable rare trees in the arboretum and their origins. Later the same week a visit to a private arboretum in St Saud la Coussière where I found a lot of fine autumn colour.
