Firstly the ++. For amazing visual spectacle it has to be group ENVOL, dance, art of fire and music : simply incredible. For serious theatre/mime I loved Cie Claire Ducreux, "Avec le temps", she plays a newly blind dancer with her partner who helps as best he can. Elegant and moving, but also amusing at times, very special.
Then a --. #be, friday evening. Announced as contemporary dance, what I saw was crude, random movements accompanied by a noise that frightened the dogs in the crowd. Sorry, but I did not like it at all, neither did my friends.
Between these two extremes I watched, photographed and enjoyed numerous and varied performances of high quality. Bravo the Urbaka team.
