According to the organisers : With 33 editions seen by more than 200 000 spectators and involving 4000 artists to date, Urbaka is an entirely free festival held on 4 days at the end of June in the streets of Limoges.
My take : honestly, a bit disappointing this year. The best events were, as always, superb, but they were few in number, most of the events were mediocre. My three favourite events this year were cie Lagom (circus/acrobats) Pop-up Rhapsodie (musical theatre) and Kabinet (clown). I was present for 3 of the 4 days (could not manage Sunday 30th as I was helping to take down the PhotoLim87 exhibition) so perhaps I missed something important, but in general, I was not impressed. Sorry.
